MOORESVILLE, N.C. - Kaz Grala will not return to Sam Hunt Racing's NASCAR Xfinity Series team next year.

Officials from the team, which completed its fourth season in the Xfinity Series earlier this month at Arizona's Phoenix Raceway, made the announcement via a video posted on X (formerly Twitter) Monday afternoon.

Grala, who drove the No. 26 Toyota GR Supra full time for team owner Sam Hunt, earned a pair of top-five finishes and nine total top 10s across the 33-race Xfinity Series season.

His season-best mark came at Richmond Raceway in April, when Grala came home fourth in the ToyotaCare 250.

In all, Grala is a veteran of 77 Xfinity Series races over the past six years. He has also made seven NASCAR Cup Series appearances since 2020, with two top-10 finishes at the sport's highest level.

Grala was part of a two-car effort for Sam Hunt Racing this season, alongside a lineup of multiple drivers in the No. 24 GR Supra that included primary teammate Connor Mosack.

FOX Sports' Bob Pockrass reported Monday that Hunt still plans to field two Toyota entries in the Xfinity Series next season, with driver announcements still to come.
