TULSA, Okla. – Motorsports’ annual pilgrimage to Tulsa Expo Raceway for the 38th Chili Bowl Nationals powered by NOS Energy Drink kicks off Monday, with opening-night kingpin Cannon McIntosh leading the list of entries for Cummins Qualifying Night.

McIntosh, a three-time Monday night preliminary winner, is back at the wheel of a Keith Kunz Motorsports with Curb-Agajanian owned entry, this year as the No. 71p with GearWrench backing aboard his Speedway Toyota-powered Lynk Chassis.

The Bixby, Okla., native returned to victory lane in the Monday opener last year after previously capturing back-to-back prelim night triumphs in 2020 and 2021.

McIntosh will have teammates Tanner Carrick, the 2022 Monday winner, and Taylor Reimer to lean on as KKM begins its pursuit of a ninth Golden Driller – and first Chili Bowl win since 2019 with Christopher Bell.

Stewart-Haas Racing NASCAR Cup Series star Chase Briscoe will also run Monday, driving his own No. 5, a Ripper-powered Stealth Chassis with support from Mahindra Tractors and Ford Performance Racing School.

World of Outlaws sprint car regulars Bill Rose and Noah Gass, five-time ASCS sprint car champion Sam Hafertepe Jr., West Coast ace Shane Golobic, international midget superstar Michael Pickens, and USAC mainstay Jerry Coons Jr. are among the other heavy hitters entered into Monday’s field.

In total, 72 of this year’s 373 Chili Bowl entries are scheduled for Monday night’s preliminary program.

Action at Tulsa Expo Raceway kicks off with hot laps at 4 p.m. Central and racing following at 5 p.m. Central. Those unable to watch at the racetrack can view the action live on FloRacing.
